The history of commercial cleaning companies began five decades ago in 1968 in the small town of Norman, Oklahoma. Jim Cavanaugh, a student at the University of Oklahoma with entrepreneurial instincts, began marketing concierge services to his clients in his community.
He worked cleaning during the night so as not to interfere with his classes during the day.
At first, several people around him scoffed because he believed that companies had their own cleaning crews, which was totally false. At that time, the team leader was responsible for cleaning up his immediate surroundings by employing volunteers from his own team, which was by no means popular and was seen as more of a punishment by the employees.
Little Jim was right, and after only a few years his business had grown to a considerable size and was already employing hundreds of employees.
It's a bit like the owner of Nettoyage experts, when he was younger, he loved to travel and to have more freedom he started cleaning the windows of different businesses. His interpersonal skills made him grow his clientele more and more and by word of mouth, he was forced to grow his business.
